Worship at FUMC

Worship services:

 8:00 AM Sunday

9:15 AM Sunday
10:30 AM Sunday

At FUMC, we offer three Sunday morning services. The first, at 8 AM, features praise band and laity-led worship. The second service at 9:15 is new and has more of a bible study focus. The third, at 10:30, is more traditional and involves the pipe organ, hymns, and clergy-led worship. These statements are generalizations, so try each service and choose the one that fits you best.

Our philosophy of worship at First United Methodist Church of Greeley is that we are God's people sharing the love of Christ. Our worship provides a reverent, spiritual, meaningful, calming environment as a welcome time of joy in the presence of God. We are excited about a faith that is based on real life issues. The awesomeness of the cross, as our guiding light, instills respect, creates values, offers grace, and builds a sense of community that empowers us to reach out to all people everywhere in personal and caring ways. The Spirit of the Living God is ever present.

  • CD and audio cassette recordings of most services are available.
  • Acolytes light the candles at the 8:00 and 10:30 services, symbolizing the Light of God in our world. Contact Nancy Morgan, to volunteer for this important part of Worship.
